Up until 22 January 2014, the plot contained a glass lattice structure build over the top of a deep hole lined with bedrock. Known as the "Foxden Demo Plot", it demonstrated how deep and how high protections for each plot reach. However, on 22 January, the site was taken over by jeffersonwhewell, who began construction of the "Whewell Residence". Construction of this was never completed, and on 23 January, the site was cleared and ownership passed to donnyw1, who began construction of a sprucewood home on the site.
